Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi Express Comes Under Attack

The Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi Express came under attack after allegedly some unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the train and damaged its window panes in Rathdhana village. The express was attacked last evening, when it was running between Rathdhana and Sonepat railway station in Haryana, when some miscreants threw stones at it ahead of Rathdhana village and damaged the window panes, an official spokesperson said. A case will be registered against the culprits and strict action initiated against them," he said. Deputy Commissioner of Sonepat Rajiv Ratan on Wednesday said that he has issued warning through public announcement in the nearby villages to take stringent action against those found involved in such incidents.
