Shah’s address started with the praise of Party’s hard work and success. He said, “Victory after victory is a positive sign. This has boosted our confidence even more for 2019,”

“In 2014 Narendra Modi had said western side of the nation has developed a lot but the same has not reached the eastern side yet. He immediately started his ‘Act East Policy’. I believe this is the victory of his policies, stamped by the 3 states of the north-east” BJP President further added.

Maintaining his confident and unfazed pitch, he said, “Even if we don't count Meghalaya, BJP & NDA has governance in 21 states across the nation today. Mandate after mandate has been in the favour of Narendra Modi Ji & his govt”

Assuring BJP's win in Karnataka, and rest non-BJP ruled states, Amit Shah stated: “the Golden Period of the party will not start unless the BJP comes to Odisha, West Bengal and Kerala."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also admired the Victory of Tripura through his tweet.

Neither Tripura, Meghalaya nor Nagaland have ever seen a BJP chief minister.
