UP Police Puts The Prime Accused Of Bulandshahr Murder Case Behind The Bars

Police arrested the prime suspect of Bulandshahr cop murder case on Tuesday.

Police said that the man, identified as Kalua, had attacked Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh with an axe, chopping off a couple of his fingers and then inflicting a head wound. After that, the officer was shot.

Police said Singh was first attacked by Kalua and later shot by Prashant Natt.

Prashant Nutt was arrested on December 28.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhakar Chowdhary said accused Kalua was arrested from a far-flung village of Bulandshahr after the police received information about his presence there.

Prashant Nutt, Kalua and a third man, Johnny, who had snatched the officer's revolver were identified from a cell phone video from the spot. All three are residents of Bulandshahr and a hunt is on for Johnny.

An army man, Jitendra Malik, who was suspected to be one of the main accused in the killing, was arrested on December 9 and is currently in judicial custody.  The police said he was present at the spot and instigated the mob against the cops.

Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh was killed by a mob of around 400 people, who hit with rocks and then beat him with sticks. Then they chased his car to a field where he was killed. A 20-year-old local man also died in the violence
