UP CM Yogi Adityanath Announces 25 Lakh Ex Gratia & 1 Job Each To Families Of 12 Jawans

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath announced ex gratia of 25 lakh rupees each along with a job for one member of the families of 12 soldiers from Uttar Pradesh who martyred in Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

The government also announced that it will rename the link roads in their native village after the names of martyrs.

Directives have also been issued to ensure that the last rites of the jawans are performed with full state honors in which one minister of the state government besides DM and SSP remain present as representatives of the government, the official said.

So far, 12 soldiers from the state have martyred in Pulwama attack including Ajit Kumar from Unnao, Pradeep Singh Yadav from Kannauj, Kaushal Kumar Rawat from Agra, Pradeep from Shamli, Vijay Maurya from Deoria, Sainik Ram Vakil from Mainpuri, Ramesh Yadav from Varanasi, Shyam Babu from Kanpur Dehat, Awdesh Yadav from Chandauli and Pankaj Tripathi from Maharajganj.

CM Yogi Adityanath expressed profound grief over the deaths and prayed for peace for the departed soul.
