Union Minister Mahesh Sharma of State Tourism and Culture addressed a gathering in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr where he passed a shocking statement and said: how a Member of Parliament MP can fulfill wishes of people when God himself cannot.

Perhaps, Sharma went for a rally in Bhajan Lal temple in Bulandshahr was heard saying: "The biggest fool is God. When God has sent us into the world, then it is his responsibility to arrange for our bread, cloth, house, employment, education for our children.”

“Even today, people in other districts, including eastern Uttar Pradesh's Ballia, do not get enough food. When the children go to school, they fill the stomach with mid-day meal, the rest are hungry. If the God who created us cannot fulfill your wishes then how could an MP?" Sharma added.

However, The 'Main bhi chowkidar' program is a similar strategy as 20 14 where BJP took on Manishankar Aiyar’s Chaiwalla jibe into a mass campaign.

Last week, Gandhi had said that PM Modi is "chowkidar" of Anil Ambani, and not of the nation. "When I raised questions over Rafale deal, PM Modi couldn't see into my eyes. He said he wants to be 'chowkidar' of the country but he is 'chowkidar' of Anil Ambani whose Rs 45,000 crore debt was waived off, and also gave him Rs 30,000 crore Rafale jet deal," he said.

Perhaps, This campaign will also further drive the narrative of PM’s strong and decisive image which multiple surveys have conveyed is the main factor in the upcoming elections.
