The Rajya Sabha witnessed repeated adjournments of proceedings in the morning session on Monday as Opposition parties protested over the PNB scam, constitution of the Cauvery Water Management Board and special status to be granted to Andhra Pradesh.

Regarding the fraud at the Punjab National Bank (PNB), Chairman of the House Venkaiah Naidu observed that the issue was very important and that he had received notices from several members under Rule 267.
