Samajwadi Party Slams BJP For Incomplete Promises With A Video Clip 'Tumhara Intezaar Hai'

The Samajwadi Party on Sunday released a 40-second video clip noting down the incomplete promises made by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) during 2017 assembly polls.

SP took to Twitter and slammed BJP for their 10 promises mentioned in their Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra during 2017 assembly polls manifesto.

In a video clip, the background music of “Tumhara Intezaar Hai” went trending on Twitter and led to a big discussion of incomplete promises on Twitter.

The video clip posted by the SP on its official Twitter page refers to BJP’s Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra 2017 assembly polls manifesto 10 points of economic help to farmers, reforms in police system, ambulance services in 15 minutes, police service in 15 minutes, employment, free laptop and Internet, teachers appointed on a contractual basis, women security, village, urban development and cultural development.

 

PM Modi is on a two-day visit to UP attend a programme on "Transforming Urban Landscape" and mark the third anniversary of three key Government initiatives related to Urban Development. These include Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), Atal Mission for Rejuvenation of Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and the Smart Cities Mission.

As it is PM Modi's 6th visit in this month in Uttar Pradesh and second to Lucknow, senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav said, "This is just the beginning. As elections approach, he will have to come here on a daily basis."

PM Modi reached Lucknow on July 28.
