RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav Demands CM Nitish Kumar's Resignation Over Muzaffarpur Shelter Home Rapes

Former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday slammed CM Nitish Kumar saying that Kumar is unable to run the government. Tejashwi also demanded Nitish Kumar to step down from his post of Chief Minister.

While addressing the media, he said, “Nitish Ji must resign on moral grounds as he's unable to run the state. It'll be proved he's the most coward CM who isn't fighting for justice for our daughters but shielding those who committed the crime. He must resign from state Home Ministry as well.”

He added further, “Nitish ji knows everything. I give him a week's time to reveal the whereabouts of the girl who was shifted from the shelter home & who has been missing since then, after which we will stage a mass protest in Madhubani.”

CBI Investigates

Earlier this day, a team of Central Bureau of Investigation and the Forensic Science Laboratory on Saturday arrived aty the shelter home for further investigation. The Bihar Government cancelled the license of accused Brajesh Thakur’s NGO which ran the infamous Muzaffarpur shelter home where 34 inmates were raped and sexually exploited.

The team will also visit accused Brajesh Thakur’s residence and newspaper office. The investigation agency is all set to grill the prime accused Brajesh Thakur, who was the owner of the NGO that ran the Muzaffarpur Shelter home.
