Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is all good to go for the massive show in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut on Sunday with the event said to be attended by a strength of 3 lakh volunteers. The agenda of the Sangh is reported to create an atmosphere for the return of the BJP government in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Root diversions have been implemented in Meerut along with tightened security. Sangh's campaign head Ajay Mittal said that eight gateways have been built in the city for the event.
As per reports, the stage is made 182 feet wide and 35 feet high. The backdrop of the platform is in rising sun shape with 92 feet high. Lifts and stairs have been made to go on stage.

The purpose of this activity is to extend the range of the organisation and pull in more individuals to the Sangh.

"RSS holds such large-scale gatherings in a decade or so in different regions, this is done to reach out to the new generation as they are curious about the Sangh. It is a one-day gathering in uniform, and we are expecting a large turnout of over a lakh," RSS Akhil Bharat Prachar Pramukh, Manmohan Vaidya told News18.

Two years ago, a similar programme took place in west Maharashtra. Many leaders, including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, will address the volunteers at ‘Rashtrodaya Sammelan’.
