Nation Pays Tribute To Indira Gandhi On Her 34th Death Anniversary

Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi, former PM Dr Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi paid floral tribute to the memorial of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 34th death anniversary, at Shakti Sthal, New Delhi.

The first and the only woman Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi was assassinated at her Delhi residence on October 31, 1984.

The whole nation remembered the Iron Lady Of India on her death anniversary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his Twitter account to pay homage to the Iron Lady of India.

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi also took to his Twitter account and wrote, "Remembering Dadi today with a deep sense of happiness. She taught me so much and gave me unending love. She gave so much of herself to her people. I am very proud of her.”

Several other Congress leaders also took to social media to pay tributes.
