Nalanda: Murder Accused Thrown Off A Building [WATCH]

A man was pushed off a balcony on Friday by a group of people when he tried to escape after allegedly committing a murder. He was later admitted to a nearby hospital.

According to the media reports, locals also engaged in a clash with the local police who tried to take control of the situation and disperse the crowd. Nine people have been arrested in connection with the attack.

The murder accused has been identified as Rajnikant Sinha. The youth who was gunned down allegedly by Sinha and his accomplices has been identified as Diwakar Kumar.

The mob lynching cases have gone way out of control offending laws and regulation. The Supreme Court revealed that mob lynching is 'beyond law and order problem' and held the state government responsible for maintaining peace.

A Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra while addressing the issue of mob lynching had said, "Nobody can take law into their own hands. It is the obligation of the states to see these incidents are prevented."

CJI Misra further added "Mob lynching is beyond the law. It is a crime. It is not confined to any motive," Misra made the statement in connection with the growing cases of mob lynching on the grounds cow vigilantism, child lifting rumors in the country
