Patnaik told the media that the team is ready to take on hostage crises and terror strikes in urban areas. He also said that members of this all-women SWAT team received better ratings at the Police Training College in Jharoda Kalan than their male counterparts.

They are armed with MP5 submachine guns and Glock 21 pistols, members of the force are well-versed in Israeli Krav Maga which is an unarmed combat style. A number of them will be accompanied by anti-terror vans called Parakram.
