Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Bhartiya Janta Party, saying that the party should either build the Ram Temple or admit that it was just a false promise.

While addressing a gathering, Thackeray launched an attack at the NDA government and said, “We warn everyone who thinks that Hindutva has died. We are still alive. We are saddened that Ram Mandir has not been constructed yet.”

He further announced, “I will visit Ayodhya on 25th November. We are not enemies of the prime minister, but we don’t want to play with the emotions of the people.”

He also said, “If you don’t start building the temple then the Shiv Sena will have to look into it. We will have to take scores of Hindus with us and build."

“The Hindu of this country is not the property of anyone. He does not forget. Our people have not forgotten the promises that you made,” the Shiv Sena chief added further.

Thackeray also hit out at the Centre over price rise, delay in abolishing Article 370 from Kashmir and for not taking a tough stand against Pakistan.

Thackeray said his party has been targeting the government over non-performance of the BJP government. “Now the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) is also speaking the same language as ours... Recently, RSS leader Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi said it is the duty of Raja (king) to keep people happy. We all know who is the king in a democracy,” he added further.
