Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited Jamnagar in Gujarat where he launched various SAUNI projects and Guru Gobind Singh Hospital.

After inaugurating various development projects, PM Narendra Modi said, “I am delighted to be in Jamnagar.” The Prime Minister also wished the nation on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

Attacking Opposition over their remarks on IAF air strike, PM Modi said, “It is natural that we all should believe the armed forces and be proud of the forces. Yet, I don’t understand why some people still want to question the forces.”

“The entire nation agrees that the menace of terror has to be eliminated. I want to ask you, don’t you trust what our armed forces say? We should be proud of our armed forces,” he added.

Further speaking on Rafale, PM said, “I said if Rafale was acquired in time it would have made a difference, but they say Modi is questioning our air force strike. Please use common sense, what I said was if we had Rafale at the time of air strikes than none of our fighter jets would have gone down and none of theirs saved.”

"If the Indian Air Force had the Rafale today, the situation would have been different. I can't do anything if some people fail to understand this," he added.

“The Sardar Sarovar Dam has brought much relief to the people of Gujarat. This project was completed despite neglect from earlier state govts and adversities from various quarters. I was certain that I can’t allow ‘Tanker Raj’ to carry on in Gujarat,” said PM Narendra Modi in Gujarat’s Jamnagar.
