Congress President Rahul Gandhi has hit out at PM Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over slowdown in investments, bank credit growth, job creation, agriculture GVA growth, increased fiscal deficit and stalled projects.

In a scathing attack on the duo, the Congress President tweeted "FM Jaitley's genius combines with Modi's Gross Divisive Politics (GDP) to give India: New Investments: 13 year (low), Bank credit Growth: 63 year (low), Job creation: 8 year (low), Agriculture GVA growth: 1.7% (low) Fiscal Deficit: 8 year (high), Stalled Projects (high),"

In his tweeted Rahul Gandhi quoted a news report of lower GDP growth rate estimates as compared to previous year.

Earlier on Thursday Mr. Gandhi had tweeted calling ‘Make In India’ as ‘fake In India’, quoting another report citing fresh investments in India plunged to a 13 year low.

Congress Party’s communications head Randeep Singh Surjewala had earlier tweeted, “An arrogant Prime Minister,Shri Narendra Modi and a failed Finance Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley hell bent upon ignoring economic wisdom have dealt a catastrophic blow to India’s Growth story as proved by the latest #GDP estimates slumping from 7.3% to 6.5%.”
