Four Months Old Girl Kidnapped, Raped And Killed In Indore, Accused Caught On CCTV

In a shocking and horrific incident, a four-month-old girl child was allegedly kidnapped, raped and killed in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.

The child was sleeping with her parents when the accused, a relative of the mother of the child took her to the basement of the building in Rajwada area, raped her and killed her, a report in Dainik Bhaskar reads.

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said his soul was stirred by the news and informed that the accused had been arrested while an inquiry was on. He promised to get speedy and tough punishment to the culprit.

Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to introduce the death penalty for rape of minor girls.

The incident came to light when people found the bloodstained body of the child in the basement of the building. Indian Express reports that the post-mortem report suggests that the child was raped before being killed.

CCTV footages of the building show the accused taking the child along with him at 4:45 am and returning alone within 15 minutes. The child’s parents sell balloons in the nearby areas and were sleeping outside the gate of the building.

Speaking to News World India, an officer of Indore Police told that the accused had been identified as 25 years old Naveen who is a relative of victim’s mother. He had a fight with the victim’s mother on the night of the incident.
