Shocking! Dismembered Body Of Delhi Bartender Found In Friend's Fridge

In a shocking incident, the body of a man, working as a bartender at a Delhi restaurant who had been missing since Monday, was found hacked to pieces and stuffed into a fridge at a home in the Saidulajab area of south Delhi.

Hailing from Uttarakhand, Vipin Joshi worked as a bartender at the Fio Country Kitchen and Bar located at the Garden of Five Senses in Saket along with his friend Badal Mandal. Joshi had been missing since Monday night after which his parents approached the police, filing a complaint about him going missing, and the police launched a manhunt to trace him.

According to reports, Joshi and Mandal lived in rented accommodations near to one another, and after finishing work on Monday night they left for Mandal's house where they stayed till late, consuming alcohol.

Searching for Joshi, his family members reached the home of his friend Badal Mandal, who had been absconding, where they noticed a strong stench coming from the home.

As the house was locked, the family members of Joshi contacted the police who broke into the house. Joshi's body parts were found inside the fridge in the house.

“His body was found cut into three pieces, head; torso and bottom half. It was dumped in a refrigerator,” said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Chinmoy Biswal.

A case has been registered and the police have launched a search for Mandal, who is the main accused in the case. No motive has been revealed yet.

“It has been revealed that Badal Mandal left the house on October 10. He is the prime suspect in the case. Teams are working to find him and the motive is being investigated,” said the additional DCP.
