The AAP MLA was granted bail for a bond of Rs 50,000.

"In view of the discussion aforesaid, the nature of allegations, the sentence provided for the offences invoked if convicted after trial and the fact that there is no likelihood of the petitioner fleeing away from justice, this court deems it fit to grant bail to the petitioner (Jarwal)." the High Court added.

The court imposed a condition that if Jarwal, himself or through someone else, harasses or obstructs the lawful activity of the complainant, the police would have the authorisation to seek cancellation of his bail.
