Congress Party Is All Set To Launch Door-To-Door Campaign To Raise Funds In Rajasthan

Indian National Congress is all set to launch a door-to-door public relations campaign from October 2 in Rajasthan. The party workers will visit each house in the state to collect the votes of residents and also to raise funds.

According to media reports, a senior party leader on Saturday said that after facing a severe fund crisis by Congress, the party has decided to bring up with this campaign which will continue till November 19.

Leaders from booth to state level will knock doors of each house asking for votes as well as notes to ensure they have sufficient funds for the coming elections.

Speaking to media, Archana Sharma, vice-president, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee revealed that this campaign is being launched at the national level from October 2, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Reports also suggest that the All India Congress Committee (AICC) has issued a circular saying that this public relation campaign needs to be taken to the district, assembly, block and booth level.

Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee President Sachin Pilot has directed all Congress members at different levels in the state to follow the directions thoroughly mentioned in the circular.

Earlier, the Congress has planned to field women and youth in seats at the Rajasthan elections, which the party has lost twice or thrice in a row.
