Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP BK Hariprasad mocked at BJP president Amit Shah’s illness calling it ‘suar ka zukam’ and stoked a new controversy on Thursday.

Hariprasad said that the people of Karnataka cursed BJP president and therefore he is suffering from ‘suar ka zukam’.

He said that Shah's illness was a "curse for meddling in Karnataka politics" and added that the more he interferes in the state's politics, the more sick he will fall.

A day after BJP President Amit Shah tweeted saying that he was suffering from swine flu and is admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi for his treatment. The Congress stooped in terms of political rhetoric in their latest attack against the BJP chief.

Hariprasad even said, “Amit Shah knows very well. Even Narendra Modi knows well that you can't shake Karnataka. On Rafale issue, they've looted Rs 30,000 Cr. They think using that money you can destabilize the govt in Karnataka. If there is a duplicate or bogus Chanakya, it's Amit Shah and they've proven this point."

"They keep trying again and again. Amit Shah is party to this crisis. He's already kidnapped 6 MLAs and placed them at a Mumbai hotel. They've been taken as prisoners and BJP and RSS workers are keeping vigil outside. Some MLAs have returned, so Amit Shah is worried and has fallen ill.”

Along with him, even leader from Gujarat Hardik Patel too commented on Shah's illness. He took to Twitter and wrote that "The doctors are in tension, whether to save the country or the rioter. Let the national duty be followed."

Sharing the health update, BJP wrote on Twitter, "BJP President Shri @AmitShah is doing well. Doctors, post check up this morning, have opined that he is recovering well and would soon be discharged. Thank you all for your kind wishes and several messages. We are overwhelmed by your affection.”
