Speaking at his first poll rally in Telangana's Nizamabad on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Congress Party and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), both the parties believe in dynastic politics.

"They are two sides of the same coin. Both parties appease the minority, both parties believe in vote-bank politics, none of them have internal democracy," PM Modi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the people of Nizamabad that those who want development only vote for the BJP.

"Those who believe in development, building new India and new Telangana trust BJP most," Modi said at the rally.

Taking a dig at Telangana Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao, PM Modi said, "Telangana chief minister and his family think they can rule without doing any work like the Congress did for years. He said he will turn Nizamabad city into a city like London but the place lacks basic facilities like water, roads and power."

"The Chief Minister of this state is walking on Congress' path. He thinks that if Congress can win elections without doing anything, he too can do it. But he must know that youth of the state are aware of the ground realities," he added.

Criticizing Rao for not joining the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat Scheme, PM Modi Said, "Ayushmaan Bharat scheme was launched 2 months ago, 3 lakh families have availed its benefits. Serious operations have been done, people's lives have been saved. Yet, not a single person from Telangana availed its benefits, your CM is responsible for it."

Before delivering the speech PM Modi took to Twitter to say that he was honored to be visiting Telangana.
