CM Arvind Kejriwal Under Threat: Mosque Caretaker Caught With Bullets While Visit To CM

A security personnel caught live cartridge from a mosque caretaker while he was visiting Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Janata Darbar on Monday morning.

The man, identified as Mohammad Imran, along with 12 imams and maulvis, went to Kejriwal's home with a request to increase the salary of the Delhi Waqf Board staff.

He told police that he found the bullet in the donation box of his mosque around three months ago, kept it in his wallet and later forgot about it.

A case under the Arms Act has been registered against him at the Civil Lines police station and he has been arrested.

This incident happened just 6 days after a visitor threw chilli powder at the Chief Minister in Delhi Secretariat.

According to media reports, CM Kejriwal asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resign if he cannot ensure the Chief Minister's security, days after a man flung chilli powder at the Aam Aadmi Party Chief inside the Delhi Secretariat.

"The people of Delhi are proud of their honest Chief Minister. I want to ask the people of the country if they feel the same about their Prime Minister," Kejriwal said.

The chief minister further claimed, "These attacks are not on me, but on the people of Delhi instead... Modi Ji is taking revenge from Delhites for voting the AAP to power in the city,".

Further reports informed, Delhi Assembly adopted a government resolution claiming that the city has become the "national crime capital".

Delhi Police reacted and said that the number of heinous crimes in the national capital had declined this year from last year and it was incorrect to call the city the "crime capital".

Kejriwal is not unknown to attacks. He earlier had ink, shoes, and slippers thrown at him. after the attack on Kejriwal, AAP accused the BJP of scheming these attacks.
