BJP National President Amit Shah has taken the political fight to the key Congress constituency of Rae Bareli. Shah took a break from the tight Karnataka schedule to address a public meeting in the constituency represented by Sonia Gandhi.

Starting his address Shah said that Raebareli since Independence has seen dynasty but not development and said he was there to launch a campaign for development against the dynasty.

As the program began, a minor fire broke out at the venue, which created confusion, and the programme had to be stopped for some time. The fire was caused because of a short circuit.

Lauding the Yogi Adityanath Government, Shah said that Uttar Pradesh was known for violence during the SP and BSP rule but the law and order improved after Yogi Government took measures to flee the goons, improving law and order of the state.

Bringing up the Mecca Masjid blast case, Shah said that a Hyderabad court had acquitted every accused who were jailed by the Congress Government.

“I ask Rahul Baba- you, your Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, P Chidambaram and Digvijaya Singh had defamed Hindus by calling it Saffron terror. Today you should apologise to the whole nation.” Shah said.
