After Trilochan Mahato, Another BJP Worker Dulal Kumar Found Hanging In West Bengal

The body of a young BJP worker Dulal Kumar was found hanging from an electric pole in Purulia district of West Bengal on Saturday. 32 years old, Dulal Kumar was missing from his home in Dabha village of Balrampur, Purulia.

This is the second incident in a row. Three days back, another BJP cadre Trilochan Mahato's dead body was found hanging from a tree.

BJP has accused the ruling Trinamool Congress for the death of its party worker. State BJP President Dilip Ghosh has accused TMC of trying to obliterate the political opposition from the state.

West Bengal Police said that investigation of Dulal’s case has been handed over to Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

BJP General Secretary Vijayavargiya, in a series of tweets, wrote that he had called ADG (Law and Order) on Friday and informed him that Dulal's life was in danger. 

"I asked him multiple times to save Dulal's life. He had assured me and said he was making all efforts," he wrote. He had demanded that a panel of five doctors should be appointed for the post-mortem of the body which should be videographed and presented to the court.

In Purulia, a close fight has been seen between Trinamool Congress and BJP winning 839 and 645 seats respectively. Out of 38 Zila Parishad seats, TMC won 26 seats and BJP won 9 Seats.

TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien has asked for 'all angles to be probed including the role of Jharkhand border and any possible involvement of Bajrang Dal, Maoists and BJP.
