The protest by the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers from the Aam Aadmi Party has entered the third day on Thursday. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, coming in support of the protest appealed to the central government to resolve the problem immediately.

Mamta wrote on Twitter,” Elected Chief Minister must get due respect. May I appeal to the government of India and the LG to resolve the problem immediately so that people do not suffer."

Apart from the West Bengal CM, the vice president of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Jayant Chaudhary also came in support of the Delhi Chief Minister.

Chaudhary on Twitter in Hindi questioned that the officers appointed by the government are not even able to find five minutes in three days for the Chief Minister who is elected by the people? This cannot be possible without the support of the Central government.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal along with the Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain and some other top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) went to meet the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal with demands to end the four months strike by IAS officers working under the Delhi Government.

They also demanded the Lieutenant Governor to issue orders that all those IAS officers who do not return to work shall be proceeded against and if necessary an action should be taken against those officers who have "stalled" work till now.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia are also sitting on an indefinite hunger strike pushing for the demands.
