Tilkut is a kind of sweet made in the Indian states of Bihar and Jharkhand. The best Tilkut is said to be from Gaya and is native to Magadha region only. It is made of pounded 'tila' or sesame seeds and jaggery or sugar.

ANARSA

Rice flour and Jaggery come together to create this beautiful Bihari food dish that is found all year long. It is coated in sesame seeds and fried in desi ghee over medium heat until it becomes red and crispy. It is also said to be best from Gaya.
