Kylie Jenner To Be The Youngest Self Made Billionaire In US

Kim Kardashian West might be the most prominent of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but Kylie Jenner is by far the richest.

According to Forbes, 20-year-old Kylie Jenner is set to become the youngest self-made billionaire with a current net worth of $900 million.

Kylie Jenner has built up cosmetics empire, starred alongside her family in Keeping Up With The Kardashians as well as her own spin-off show Life of Kylie.

Forbes has valued her company at $800 million and raised her overall worth to $900 million by throwing in earnings from television programs, endorsements and after-tax dividends.

The fashion guru who gave birth to daughter Stormi in February set up Kylie Cosmetics two years ago and the company has already sold more than $630 million worth of makeup.

Much of Jenner's work for Kylie Cosmetics happens on Social media. The manufacturing, packaging and sales outsourced to private companies and the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch and Kylie's mother, Kris Jenner, handles the financial and public relations aspects of the brand, Forbes reported.

Add to that the millions she's earned from TV programs and endorsing products like Puma shoes and PacSun clothing, and $60 million in estimated after-tax dividends she's taken from her company, and she's conservatively worth $900 million, which along with her age makes her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America's Richest Self-Made Women.

She is already the youngest person on Forbes list of richest self-made US women and another year of growth would make her the youngest self-made billion ever, beating Mark Zuckerberg who crossed the threshold at the age of 23.

Ultimately their fortunes all drive from the same place "Social media is an amazing platform" Jenner, who has 110 million followers on Instagram, told Forbes. "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers."

Kylie is on track to be a billion-dollar company by 2022, according to Fortune.

Jenner is the youngest daughter of Kris and Caitlyn, formerly Olympic gold medallist Bruce.

Jenner's massively loyal following, however, puts her in a class of her own. The youngest daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Olympic gold medal decathlete Bruce Jenner), sibling of supermodel Kendall Jenner and half-sister of Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob Kardashian, Kylie Jenner grew up under a microscope. The family's 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' first aired when she was just 10 years old, beaming her onto television screens in more than 160 countries. Steered by their mother, Kris, each scion had a moneymaking scheme, from mobile gaming (Kim) to modelling (Kendall) and even socks (Rob)

Forbes said she used $250,000 earned from modelling to pay a company to produce the first 15,000 lip kits, which she spent months teasing on Instagram. They sold out in less than a minute at the November 2015 launch.

Jenner had admitted to having temporary lip fillers. On Sunday, she revealed on Instagram that she had ditched them.
