Born to parents Imran Mirza, a sports journalist and Naseema, a homemaker, Sania was brought up in a Muslim family in Hyderabad. She started playing tennis at the tender age of six.

The Election Commission on Thursday appointed IAS officer Ashish Kundra as poll-bound Mizoram's new chief electoral officer, replacing S B Shashank after widespread protests in the state.
A notification issued by the EC said, "The Election Commission of India in consultation with the Government of Mizoram hereby nominates Ashish Kundra as the chief electoral officer for the state of Mizoram with immediate effect."

An NGO, 'Make Love, Not Scars' and Reshma (an acid attack survivor) recently together filmed a make-up tutorial, where Reshma teaches viewers how to get perfect red lips and how to apply the perfect eyeliner.
This is not just a make-up tutorial; she also talks about how lipsticks and eyeliners are available at stores as easily as a dangerous item like acid.

Reshma was attacked by her brother-in-law with sulphuric acid while she was in Allahabad in 2014. She suffered severe burns and is left with a permanently damaged eye. According to doctors, she needs a series of cosmetic surgeries for her wounds to heal.
