External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has an extensive fan following as she has already helped millions across the world, and has gained another fan in the form of Pakistani woman Hijaab Asif.

On behalf of a Pakistani national wanting to have medical treatment done in India, Asif reached out to EAM Swaraj who responded to the woman's plea and had her connected the Indian High Commission in Islamabad asking them to grant the visa to India.

Asif thanked Swaraj profusely in a series of tweets "Lots and lost of love and respect from here. Wish you were our Prime Minister, this country would've changed! Sushma Swaraj what do I call you? Superwoman? God? No words to describe your generosity! Love you maam Can't stop praising you in tears!"

Despite relations being strained between the two nations, India continues to provide medical visas to Pakistani nationals. Since Pakistan refused access to alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav despite Swaraj writing multiple letters, the restrictions on medical visas granted to Pakistani nationals have been stiffened.
