The United Nations General Assembly witness a war of words between India and Pakistan, as India alleged Pakistan to be an exporter of terrorism while Pakistan alleged India to be carrying out human rights violations.

After making attacks against the nation as a whole, Pakistan has now levelled a more personal attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Pakistan foreign minister Khawaja Asif called PM Modi a 'terrorist' and the RSS a terrorist party which he accused of running the nation.

In an interview with Pakistan's Geo TV, Asif hit back at India and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's words at the UNGA.

"At the (UN) General Assembly, Sushma Swaraj accused us of exporting terror, while in fact, it is a terrorist who is Prime Minister of her country, his (the PM's) hands have the blood of murdered Muslims in Gujarat," said Asif.

"A terrorist party is ruling India, the RSS rules India," he added.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has been receiving criticism internationally for providing safe havens for terrorism. US President Donald Trump in August accused Pakistan of providing "safe havens to agents of chaos, violence and terror", which was seconded by several other nations.

Last week, Asif admitted to hosting terrorists like Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed and terror groups like Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), calling them a 'liability' for Pakistan.

"Saeed, LeT, they are a liability, I accept it, but give us time to get rid of them, we don't have the assets to deal with these liabilities," said Asif at the Asia Society in New York, blaming the creation of personalities like Saeed on the US.

"Don't blame us for Saeed, these people were your darlings 20 years ago, they were being dined and wined in the White House. Now you say go to hell, Pakistan," said Asif.
