Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina for the G20 summit 2018 on Thursday which is scheduled to begin today.
PM Modi met Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who is in the middle of the controversy regarding the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Friday.
The two discussed ways to further boost economic, cultural and energy ties.
The two sides also held discussions on enhancing investment in technology, renewable energy and food security.

Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary-General in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
The foreign ministry said in a statement that PM Modi would meet Chinese president Xi Jinping and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the event.
US President Donald Trump too arrived in Buenos Aires for the Group of 20 summit on Friday, where he will hold a high-stakes meeting with China but has vowed to snub Russia's Vladimir Putin who will also join in the summit.
PM Modi took part in the "Yoga for Peace" event on Thursday and while addressing the participants he said that yoga is bridging the vast distance between Argentina and India, and connecting their people.
"I arrived here just a few hours ago after travelling over 15,000 kilometres in more than 24 hours. And because of your love and enthusiasm, I did not feel at all that I am outside India," the prime minister said in Hindi.'
He congratulated the organisers of the event and said it is difficult to find a better name than this for a yoga program.

The theme of the G20 summit is Building Consensus for a Fair and Sustainable Development.
