Bollywood superstar Sonam Kapoor is no stranger to the Cannes Film Festival.
The 29-year-old star has been coming to the world famous event for the last five years as a brand ambassador for L'Oreal.
Kapoor, the daughter of Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, said she loves attending the festival because she's passionate about film.
"I think it's just an amalgamation of people over here - people from all walks of life, all achievers or people trying to achieve. I'm third generation in the movie business back home, and I'm passionate about that. It's a family business and I'm passionate about it and it's all about the movies here, which I think is amazing," she smiled.
Indian movies often launch in Cannes - this year Aishwarya Rai's latest "jazbaa" debuted - but rarely feature in competition categories.
Kapoor hopes that will change in the future.
"We make incredible films and I feel that people will love the films that we make. We have the biggest film industry in the world and we need more credit for it," she said.
