The trailer has literally blown our minds. It is indeed as promised, grand with jaw-dropping action, visual extravaganza and a larger than life cinematic experience. It is clear from the trailer that the film has been mounted on a monstrous scale.

Along with them, there will also be two strong female characters in Katrina Kaif as Suraiyya and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Zafira. British actor Lloyd Owen will also be seen playing the role of John Clive, as the villain of the movie.

The trailer takes us back to the era of 1795 where Britishers were the ascendant power but they had to battle a stiff challenge against a group of thugs. The British had their guns and were in full power, while the Indians were led by Amitabh’s character Khudabaksh, who is regardfully called Azad by his followers and had Fatima's character Zafira as his trusted lieutenant. The over 3.5-minute trailer introduces us to all the principal characters and their intentions. The most noticeable is Aamir Khan’s Firangi Mallah, who begins by two-timing both sides of the divide. Katrina Kaif as Suraiyya makes a brief appearance in the clip.

This is definitely going to be an experience of a lifetime, as Mr Bachchan wrote in of his tweet:

The Yash Raj Films production, Thugs of Hindostan is an adaptation of the 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug directed by Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya. It is slated to release on November 8, around Diwali.
