Witty And Gritty Teaser Of Saif Ali Khan's 'Kaalakaandi' Will Leave You Intrigued

Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan has been supporting bad luck for his last few films which performed horribly on box office. Despite the delayed release date of his much-anticipated film 'Kaalakaandi', the actor seems to have all the faith in the concept of the dark comedy to re-built his career.

Hoping for the same, the makers have released an official teaser poster for announcing the launch of film's trailer which will come out later today. Renowned critic and Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh unveiled the interesting teaser of 'Kaalakaandi' with the caption reading, "Teaser poster of #Kaalakaandi... Stars Saif Ali Khan... Trailer out tomorrow [6 Dec 2017]."

The intriguing poster sports the silhouette of Saif's witty character with many ponytails having colourful hair ties against the pink backdrop. The brightly lit skyline of Mumbai is highlighted piquing the excitement of the audience altogether, who can't wait to watch the electric ride, the film is expected to be.

Talking about the actor's character in the film, a source told a leading daily, "Saif's character discovers that he has cancer and is dying. He lives in denial for a while. Then, with his brother's wedding coming up, he decides to live life to the fullest, trying out everything he hadn't so far, including smoking, drinking and tripping on acid."

The official teaser of the film was released in July but the further announcement of its release was stretched to infinity for unknown reasons. The 37-second-clip reveals about the Saif's all-time high nature in the film who is running around like a madman wearing a weird hawk-like costume with yellow furry wings.

Helmed by 'Delhi Belly' director Akshat Verma, the film has Vijay Raaz, Deepak Dobriyal, Shobita Dhulipala, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Isha Talwar and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal characters. The film revolves around six characters coming from diverse worlds, the stories of whom get entangled together in one monsoon night.
