Sushant Singh Rajput & Sara Ali Khan Starrer Kedarnath’s Enthralling Teaser Out

The teaser of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath was released on Tuesday. The teaser portrayed drama, romance, thrill, intensity and visuals that are sure to keep one hooked.

Kedarnath is a pure love story and showcases the endearing chemistry between Sara and Sushant. 

The film is based on real-life events during the mountain tsunami that wrecked the temple town Kedarnath in June 2013. The violent waters look scary and amid this fear prevails the love story of this film.

The film is shot along a 14-km pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath, the 2000-year-old temple of Lord Shiva, the film depicts the love story of Mansoor and Mukku played by Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara, respectively.

Sushant plays the role of a Muslim boy, while Sara portrays a Hindu woman. There’s myriad of love but at the same time, tragedy is seen overpowering it which could be seen in many scenes as destruction is faced due to the floods. 

There’s a moment in the movie which shows Sara being forced into the water. Indeed the teaser prepares us to witness the emotional, heart-wrenching yet beautiful moments that are sure to stay etched in your memory for a long time.

According to the media reports, producer of the film Pragya Kapoor said that the film is not a usual love story,"Set against the backdrop of nature’s fury, Kedarnath is not an everyday love story. Shooting on virgin and undeveloped terrain was as thrilling as it was draining. This has made the journey to completion a well-earned reward."

"All thanks to the invaluable contributions of the entire cast and crew. We are all charged up about bringing Kedarnath to our audiences," she further added.

The film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and is produced by RSVP and Guy in the Sky Pictures. The film is slated to release on December 7.
