Sushant Singh Rajput And Bhumi Pednekar To Share Screen Space In 'Sone Chidaiya'

'MS Dhoni' fame Sushant Singh Rajput and 'Tiolet- Ek Prem Katha' actress Bhumi Pednekar are two Bollywood actors who have proved their mettle to the entire film industry despite being "outsiders" in the world of fame. Their dedication towards their work and acting prowess has gained them appreciation time and again.

These versatile actors are now all ready to share the screen space with each other for Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming love saga. Known for making the acclaimed films like 'Ishqiya' and 'Udta Punjab', the celebrated director is all ready to explore an untouched subject yet again with 'Sone Chidaiya'.

Set in the backdrop of Chambal dacoits in the 80s, the love story will reportedly go on floors from January next year. However, the script reading sessions have already started as the director known for getting everything right is not ready to settle for anything less than perfect.

A reliable source revealed, "We are having script reading sessions for the whole team. Preparation is on in full swing. The film is high on emotions and drama. There is a love story as well. We will start shoot from January 10, 2018."

It is the first time that the two actors will be seen sharing the screen space. Reportedly, Sushant will be seen in the role of a dacoit whereas Bhumi will play his love interest. The makers are already looking for the perfect locations in the Chambal ravines for shooting the film.

Expressing her excited about working in the film, the 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' actress has earlier said, "I am very excited to play this character. It is a challenging script and film." She also confirmed the presence of Sushant in the film and revealed, "He is the main lead in the film and he is such a phenomenal actor. So, I am really excited to see how everything unfolds."

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala's new banner RSVP Films, the film will reportedly be an emotional roller coaster ride with the delightful blend of romance and drama. Sushant Singh Rajput is currently busy with filming Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kedarnath' opposite Sara Ali Khan and has 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' and 'Drive' in his kitty.
