Singer Guru Randhawa To Turn To Acting, Confirms Signing First Film

Singer Guru Randhawa is stepping into acting. With a discography studded with hits like  'Lahore', 'High Rated Gabru', 'Suit Suit', 'Ban Ja Rani', his latest hit is 'Made in India'. Making his foray into acting, he has reportedly already signed his first film. 

Earlier, when Guru was asked if he wants to explore acting, he said, "If I get a chance, why not!"

"In fact, I  have signed a film already. If everything goes well, it will be released soon. But I don't want to compromise on my singing or drop down its level to start acting," Guru said.

"I want to learn it first and take acting and singing hand-in-hand. It is very important to learn. And I try to learn from everything around me. I learn from travelling, even from interviews," he added.

He has featured in most of his videos. As for his own work, Guru whose real name is Gursharanjot Randhawa, has sung for several Hindi Films like Hindi Medium, Simran, Tumhari Sulu, Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety, Dil Junglee and Blackmail, and is loving all the attention he's getting.

In January 'Lahore' secured a spot in Billboard Top 25 on YouTube, which also featured songs by International artists like Ed Sheeran, Luis Fonsi and  Bruno Mars. Bollywood Films also have started featuring an increasing number of peppy Punjabi songs, whether they are new or old.
