Singer And Actor Diljit Dosanjh Donates Rs 3 Lakh To The Families Of Pulwama Attack Martyrs

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh donated Rs 300,000 on Sunday to the wives of the CRPF troopers who died in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Diljit shared a snapshot of his donation receipt to the CRPF Wives Welfare Association. He also posted a message urging his fans and followers to help the martyrs’ families by donating.

Paytm and CRPF Wives Association recently collaborated with an aim to make a faster transaction to the families of martyrs.

Apart from Diljit, many celebrities have come forward to support the families of the deceased troopers.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's spokesperson confirmed that the Agneepath actor will donate Rs 500,000 each to the families of the 40 CRPF troopers who were killed in the terror attack on February 14.

The Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, took to his Twitter account to thank actor Salman Khan for "offering to contribute for Pulwama Martyrs through BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION."

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s Reliance Foundation has taken the responsibility for the education and employment of their children, and the livelihood of their families.

Former cricketer Virender Sehwag has also offered to fund the education of martyr’s children while boxing icon Vijender Singh has donated a month’s salary to the families of 40 martyrs of Pulwama terror attack.

Meanwhile, in a move to condemn the attack, Indian music company T-series has removed and unlisted the songs by Pakistani music artists from their YouTube channel.
