After Kailash Kher and Abhijeet Bhattacharya, music composer Anu Malik has been accused of sexually harassing playback singer Shweta Pandit that too when she was just a minor girl aged 15 years.

Shweta took to her twitter account on Wednesday to share the ordeal in a detailed post. She called him a 'paedophile' and a 'sexual predator'.

It was back in 2000 when she was 15 years old and debuted as a playback singer for Mohabbatein.

"He asked me to sing something for the voice test without any music. I sang the title track of Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega. I sang it well so he said, 'I will give you this song with Sunidhi and Shaan but give me a kiss now.' He then smiled what I would recall as the evilest grin I have seen. I went numb and pale in the face." She further added

She revealed that the incident left her shocked to a stage that she decided to quit the music industry.

However, it was her love for singing that didn’t let her go off her passion that too because of a sexual predator. At the end of the post, the singer revealed that there must have been a lot of girls like her who have been exploited by Malik. Urging the victims to come forward, Shweta asked all the women to share their #MeToo stories.

When PTI reached out to Malik for his comment on the matter, he said, “No comments. This is ridiculous. I don’t want to talk about it. Today anyone says anything.”
