India is a sexually-repressed nation where sexual disorders are not handled sensibly. Indian cinema has showcased male supremacy for years and coming up with a film dealing with a such a sensitive issue is in itself, remarkable.

Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' deals with erectile dysfunctionality and the story revolves around the lead pair, Mudit and Sugandha moving past all obstacles to be together.

R S Prasanna has left no stone unturned in the humorous representation of this socially relevant film. As any other family-oriented, shy Delhi guy, Mudit is afraid of approaching the girl's family whom he likes.

The leading lady encourages her husband-to-be to stay positive but the situation gets clumsy when their families get involved. Instead of glamourising the film with unreal elements, Director Prasanna has maintained the down-to-earth approach, making the film a real treat for commoners.

In the end, the film gives out a pertinent message with such light-hearted approach that it surely makes the whole experience worth it. All in all, 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' is worth a watch.
