MTV Girls On Top sensation Saloni Chopra shared a bold topless picture to portray an important message to the world.

The actress wanted all be it a man or a woman, to celebrate their flaws as no one is perfect. The long caption read, “FUN FACTS: No, I'm not pregnant. Actually, I want to adopt only. But you don't care do you...Avoid asking random girls if they're pregnant. Mainly because; it's none of your business. Moving on; Not all girls have flat stomachs. Or toned arms. (Not all men have six packs and abs either) Some girls have cellulite and stretch marks. Some even get pimples - shocking right?! Most girls don't have perfect hair. It is frizzy, and often breaks with no warning. Some have extremely oily skin, others moisturize every 10 minutes. Not all skinny girls are healthy. Not all heavy girls are unfit. Many girls binge eat. Others starve themselves. Some, vomit the food out to look good. But all girls, are beautiful.... yet most of them spend hours every day obsessing over their bodies and imperfections. They spend too long feeling ugly and lack confident because they compare themselves to models. Today's task: be the reason she feels amazing about herself! Tag her, and tell her why she's amazing. More Fun Facts: Bruges should be in your bucket list of locations.”

On this Independence Day, the irony is that I’m anything but Independent as a woman. My body controlled and censored, my thoughts banned and abused, my free will is limited to my breasts. ‘You can grow up to be anything my love, anything but a free woman’. You can grow up to be an engineer, runner, astronaut, doctor... as long as you keep those breasts covered. Because as a woman, your body, is the biggest threat to this society. As a woman, my body, belongs to each one of you. It belongs to your social platforms, your phones, your porn sites, your bedrooms, your brothels - it belongs to everything but me, hence you control what I do with it. To receive human rights, no one expects you to be Nelson Mandela - but to be a woman and desire equality they expect you to be Kaplana Chawla. So you cannot be just another girl who wants freedom to be herself. You must first become the first Indian woman to achieve something no other woman has, and then they respect you. If women weren’t so busy trying to hide their breasts or be ashamed of their periods, then you’d probably have MORE women achieve more things, and we wouldn’t constantly in the 21st century have ‘1st woman to have done something thousands of men already have done’ be such an achievement. So Happy Independence Day to ya’ll, but I think I’ll skip this one. You can censor my tits, but thank fucking god you can’t censor my words. Swipe right ➡️ for some serious patriarchal double standards. Because that’s acceptable while this isn’t. Thank you, @rahulb90 for doing this for me. You give me hope. I love you. #independenceday #india #equality #feminism #freethenipple #breakingstereotypes #fuckpatriarchy #women #bethechange

In case you’re wondering, I didn’t ask for any consent from those shirtless men in my photo either - OR the hundreds other that end up in my photographs. And in yours, and every ones photo on the beach. But hey, you see a topless girl, and suddenly your world falls apart because most of you can’t get your brain out of your dicks. For the women that object another woman’s free will, well, I genuinely don’t know what to say to you either. You’re part of the problem... but don’t you worry, I’ll still stand up for your right to express yourself, even if you choose to be against mine. You can be satisfied that you’re part of a majority, because that’s truly the only thing you’re eventually part of. The herd that doesn’t want this world to change because change and equality makes them uncomfortable. Congratulations, you’re slowing ya all down. Shirtless men are this societies norm. Am I annoyed? A little, I’m only human. But not enough to stop... in fact, you make me want to rebel harder, so you can go kiss my ass. With my complete consent. ???? #equality #freethenipple #girls #europe #portugal #travel #traveltheworld #kissmyass #patriarchy #whyineedfeminism
