After giving the blockbuster like 'Bodyguard' together, Bollywood's superstar Salman Khan is all ready to collaborate with producer Atul Agnihotri once again. Continuing the tradition of treating his fans on the holy day of Eid, the superstar's next big release, 'Bharat' will hit the theatres on Eid 2019.

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, this will be the director's third film with the actor after the duo worked together in record-breaking 'Sultan' and Salman's December release 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. 'Bharat' is the official adaption of popular South Korean drama 'Ode to My Father' which stormed the global cinema in 2014.

The Korean film timelined the Korean history from the 1950 war to the present day from an ordinary man's point of view. Known for his eye for detail, filmmaker Atul Agnihotri was able to relate the concept to modern India when he watched the film during its screening at the Berlin Film Festival.

Talking about the film, Salman Khan's brother-in-law recently revealed, "It's the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat." The film is expected to go on floors in April next year and will require intensive travelling trips to Abu Dhabi and Spain.

Agnihotri feels that Salman's film have a lot of expectations which make the film a "big responsibility" for him. He said, 'I'm very conscious about Salman's fan base and what they want. And once again, I'm convinced that being a family film it's worthy of coming during the festive time. And anyway, an Eid release is always every producer's preferred choice."

"That film is just the starting point for us, but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with 'Bharat."
