Kashmir: Salman Khan Thanks Fans For Support, Holds First Media Meet After Bail

09 Holding his first press conference after his bail in the 2002 'Hit and Run' case, Salman Khan had an open chat with the press on his upcoming flick 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Speaking to the media, Salman thanked the people who rallied for him and also thanked Kashmiris for their love and support. The 'Dabaang' star complimented on the beauty of Kashmir saying, "We are stupid to go to Switzerland. "Kashmir is a beautiful place", said the actor who claims to have his roots from Jammu and Kashmir. While coining the term that the “one who hasn’t seen Kashmir has seen nothing”, Salman said, “he would appeal the people outside the state to visit the beautiful landscapes of valley and explore it as all weather tourist destination.” In his address to the media, Salman said it is surprising that the theatres are not operational and people have to watch Bollywood movies through pirated DVD’s, and hoped this situation will change soon. Joined by Kabir Khan in the press conference, the director confirmed the latest flick 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will hit the screens on Eid 2015. Kabir said there is lot more needed to be done so that Bollywood would make Kashmir its prime destination.
