Following the bandwagon of his fellow celebrities, Rock On!! star Purab Kohli also got married to his long-time girlfriend Lucy Paton. The actor got hitched in a private ceremony with only a few close friends and family members in attendance.

His 'P.O.W: Bandi Yuddh Ke' co-star Amrita Puri, who herself is new to nupitals also marked her presence at Purab's wedding ceremony. Congratulating her reel life husband for his real-life wedding, she shared a picture from his D-Day on Instagram.

Along with the photograph, she wrote, "My Sartaj Singh is hitched! Congratulations to my reel life husband! Wishing you all the love in the world @purab_kohli & Lucy Kohli #mandown #sartajsingh #POW."

Clad in a beige-coloured sherwani paired with matching pagdi, Purab is looking utterly handsome. Another picture from the wedding ceremony is going viral where the British bride can be seen dressed in a gorgeous red-coloured lehenga, holding her husband's hand.

Lucy, a UK-based yoga teacher and VJ-turned actor Purab are proud parents of a two-year-old girl named Inaaya. Despite signing the legal papers to become man and wife in 2016, the couple waited to complete the rituals because they wanted their daughter to become a part of their celebrations.

Another reason to not get married despite having the societal pressure of having a child out of wedlock was that Purab didn't want his child to believe that her parents got tied into a life-long commitment because of her existence.

Talking to the Indian Express, Purab has admitted, "There was pressure to get married. My mother was the most concerned and my family did say 'you guys have to get married quickly' when Lucy was pregnant. But I was adamant about not doing it because I never wanted my baby to feel that we got into a relationship because she was coming."

"Fatherhood is a gift that I wish upon everybody and especially when it's a baby girl," Purab expressed adding, "Her coming into this world has transformed both our lives for the better. She is our love child and has bloomed even more love between both of us and made me love life more."

While Purab and Lucy have tried to keep their marriage low-profile, it couldn't refrain the internet users from showering the newly wedded couple with best wishes. We also wish the proud parents and lovely couple, a happily married life!
