Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood Film Cowboy Ninja Vikings With Chris Pratt Delayed 'Indefinitely'

In bad news for Bollywood-Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, her Hollywood project 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' opposite Chris Pratt, for which she reportedly quit Salman Khan starrer Bharat, has now been delayed indefinitely, media reported on Tuesday.

According to a report by Collider, the Chris Pratt action film Cowboy Ninja Viking has been removed from the release calendar of Universal Studios and the production has been delayed 'indefinitely' although the film remains in 'active development'. Earlier, the makers had been planning for a June 2019 release.

The film was meant to be the feature directorial debut of Michelle MacLaren of Game of Thrones fame and was based on the Image Comics graphic novel. Michelle is confirmed as the director for whenever the film restarts and Chris Pratt remains confirmed for the role of the protagonist 'Duncan' an assassin who has skills of 3 personas, a cowboy, a ninja and a viking.

However, as per the Collider report, Priyanka Chopra would likely be the first choice for the role and her involvement would be dependent on available dates. Earlier reports had claimed that while the role of Priyanka in Cowboy Ninja Viking had not been confirmed she would play the leading lady opposite Chris Pratt who shot to stardom in blockbusters such as Jurassic World, the Guardians Of The Galaxy films and Avengers: Infinity.

Priyanka Chopra has three Hollywood films on her resume already - Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic apart from her hit American TV show Quantico.

Currently, Priyanka is in India shooting for Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink, opposite Farhan Akhtar.
