Priyanka And Nick To Tie The Knot In Hindu Tradition Today, Shares Mehendi Pictures On Instagram

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are all set to get hitched today in Hindu ceremony at Baradari Lawns in Jodhpur, according to sources.

Nickyanka also shared pictures from the Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies on 30th December.

Priyanka and Nick got married in a Christian ceremony on Saturday where the fatherly duties were performed by Nick Jonas' father Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr. The ceremony was a blast and was celebrated later by the beautiful firecracker show.

They both shared pictures of Mehendi and Haldi functions and wrote in a joint statement on their respective Instagram account, "One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures."

They added "And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed."

The bride was dressed in a colourful pink-yellow-green Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble with minimal heirloom jewellery and flowers adorning her hair. 

While nick wore an aqua bhakiya kurta and is also seen wearing Mehendi in one of the photos.

Nick’s brother Joe's fiancee Sophie Turner was seen wearing a dark green lehenga, Priyanka’s cousin and actor Parineeti looked beautiful in a canary yellow ensemble.

Reportedly, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Hindu wedding ceremony will take place at Umaid Bhawan’s Baradari lawns in Jodhpur with Mehrangarh Fort as the backdrop. The mandap will be around 40-feet high with the Mehrangarh Fort and decked up with red flowers.

The bride will wear an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla creation at the Hindu wedding ceremony. Both Priyanka and Nick wore Ralph Lauren creations at the Christian wedding on Saturday.

Further, report informed the groom will arrive on a 'ghodi'- a mare- for the Hindu ceremony, as per rituals. He will be accompanied by a proper 'baaraat'.
