John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' will bring the unsaid story of India's first successful nuclear test after battling through multiple obstacles to theatres. Celebrating the culmination of a legal battle between film's producers, the makers dropped a fresh poster.

The posture features a string of military officers, led by the leading actors, marching ahead with determination evident on all their faces. A nuclear missile being carried on a truck is visible in the backdrop, symbolising the journey of India in becoming a nuclear power.

For the fifth and hopefully the final time, film's release was postponed from May 4 to May 25. Sharing the poster and declaring the new release date, John Abraham wrote, "The road to becoming a nuclear state is full of challenges. Making history is never easy! Here's the new poster of #Parmanu. Film releases May 25th."

After a series of nuclear tests in the city of Pokhran in 1998 under the leadership of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the mission was completed successfully. However, the journey to reach the aim was excruciating due to the political and international atmosphere of the year.

'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' explores the mission through the eyes of an armed forces personnel played by Abraham, who had an important role in making the mission successful. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film will now hit the theatres on May 25, 2018.
