Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who currently tastes the success of his recent hit, Thackeray, will be seen next playing a passionate lover in his next film ‘Bole Chudiyan’.

Nawaz's brother, Shamas Nawab Siddiqui will be directing this film. Shamas feels that it’s an honour to work with his brother in this romantic drama.

The director has worked on several ad films and a short film, 'Miyan Kal Aana' that was screened at 34 International Film Festivals and received 10 awards. He has also worked as a co-producer on Manto, where Nawazuddin played the titular role of Saadat Hasan Manto.

According to media reports, Shamas said, "I am happy that Nawaz bhai has given his nod to my script. I have worked for more than a year on the script. As everyone knows, he is very choosy with his scripts and wouldn't do a film just because I am his brother. Bole Chudiyan is a romantic drama set in our home-town of Budhana in Uttar Pradesh. We are in talks with several actors to play the female lead in the film. An announcement will be made in two-three days."

It will be the second film of Nawazuddin Siddiqui with producers Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia of Woodpecker Movies after ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’.

While Nawaz will play the male lead, the female lead for Bole Chudiyan hasn’t been finalised yet.
