Nana Patekar's Lawyer Sends A Legal Notice To Tanushree Dutta

Bollywood veteran actor Nana Patekar's lawyer sends a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta, demands to apologise for accusing Mr Patekar of harassing her on a film set 10 years ago

Nana Patekar finally spoke over harassment accusations that were put on him by former Miss India Tanushree Dutta who had claimed that she was assaulted by him on the sets of Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss

In an interview, the 67-year-old actor Nana Patekar said that not only did he deny it, but he is also considering legal action against her.

"What can I say why she is saying it? How do I know why she is saying this? What does she mean by sexual harassment? There were 50-100 people on the set with me," said the veteran actor. 

"I'll take legal action against her," he said.

In an interview, the actress had detailed the harassment that she had faced on the sets of the 2008 film. She alleged that although she was signed for a solo dance sequence by director Ganesh Acharya, the details of the contract were changed and she was asked to film the song with Patekar, who, supposedly, misbehaved with her, she claims that she and her family were attacked, and her complaints went unaddressed. 

Dutta said that the episode had affected her family adversely as well. She further said that had the #MeToo movement happened in India a decade ago, things would be different in Bollywood. 

Meanwhile, When in an event reporter was asked for a reaction to legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, on this controversy he said: ‘My name is not Tanushree and my name is not Nana Patekar.’ 

Thugs of Hindostan' co-star, Aamir Khan, also said, "I don't think I can comment on it... But whenever something like this does happen it is really a sad thing. Now whether such a thing has happened it is for people to investigate it." 

Other Bollywood celebrities have been taking to their social media handles to come out and support Tanushree.
