Bollywood star Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma’s Bollywood debut Loveratri, which also features Warina Hussain in lead role, has been in news ever since its announcement and also sparked controversy over the similarity of its title with the Hindu festival Navratri.

After the release of Loveratri trailer, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and some other groups expressed objection over Loveratri title. They demanded change in Loveratri’s name as it hurt Hindu sentiments.

Salman through a tweet Wednesday announced the name change of Aayush’s film Loveratri to Loveyatri.

Bihar's Muzzafarpur court recently filed an FIR against Salman Khan. A tweet from ANI read as ''An Bihar's Muzaffarpur Court gives orders to file FIR against Salman Khan and 7 other actors after a complaint was filed by an advocate against him and his production 'Loveratri' alleging  the title that film hurts Hindu sentiments."

At the launch of Bigg Boss 12, Salman said, "I don't know who they are, that have some problem with the title of the film. It is a beautiful and simple title. It is not demeaning any culture. Our prime minister belongs from that culture. So, when you play a role like I had played a Haryanvi in Sultan, I do it with a lot of respect."

He said, "We have made this beautiful film celebrating the music, colour, love and the fun of festive season and it's a sweet love story. We don't need any publicity like that. Once the film will be released those people will know  that there is nothing like that."
